The Newest Addition to Our Legacy
The Delhi Public School Society established its first school in 1949 at Mathura Road, New Delhi. In persuance of its motto, 'Service Before Self' and its commitment to an integrated educational system, the mission of the Society was to enhance learning among the Indian youth. Delhi Public Schools in our country and abroad have a glorious past, and presently carries a legacy of 68 years.
Now, more than 180 schools later, we have thousands of students and satisfied parents standing testimony to the legacy that is the Delhi Public School. Introducing the newest addition to the DPS family in the north-east India, successfully preceded by inception of DPS Guwahati in 2002, DPS Khanapara in 2015, arrives DPS Jorhat, under Gyan Mandir Foundation - a K-12 co-educational school to be affiliated with CBSE with the objective to nurture the innate ability of each child under its care and help him grow beyond the potential he is born with so as to empower him to come into his own. Our goal will also be to make every child a 'lifelong learner' by nurturing qualities of inquiry, creative learning thus fostering the 'change makers' of tomorrow.
Knowledge along with character building in our students is our vision. This will equip each student to take on the world with confidence and blaze a trail through life, independently.
